Diesel Mechanic

with a background in light to medium trucks to join our team in Bohle. This role is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys working on Isuzu, Hino, Fuso and similar smaller trucks, with variety but without constant heavy mining or earthmoving equipment.
This is a full-time, workshop-based role. We are growing and looking for the right person to join our team long term.
This role will see you working primarily on light to medium diesel vehicles, including:
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light trucks and fleet vehicles
Diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and systems
Brake, clutch, suspension and drivetrain repairs
Dismantling, inspecting, repairing and reassembling components
Occasional local breakdowns and call-outs (optional)
Liaising with customers to explain faults and solutions
Recording work, to ensure accurate record of tasks completed, via an easy-to-use mobile app
Maintaining a safe and efficient workshop
